1. Reflection Journal
Completing my clinical learning experience has been a valuable opportunity to reflect on both my professional growth and the strategies I have learned throughout my program. I have had the chance to work alongside my preceptor and peers, where I learned to prioritize tasks and delegate responsibilities effectively. During the clinical experience, one of the tasks I delegated was the collection of patient vitals to a nursing assistant while I focused on patient education and coordinating care plans. This allowed me to develop my leadership and organizational skills. It also gave me a deeper understanding of the importance of teamwork and communication in a clinical setting.
As I progress through the program, I plan to care for myself by maintaining a balanced schedule, setting aside time for physical activity, and utilizing stress management techniques, such as mindfulness and deep-breathing exercises. I recognize the importance of self-care to ensure I can perform at my best, both for myself and my patients.
